The Atlantic halibut is the world's largest flatfish. Halibut yield large fillets from both sides of the fish, with the small round cheeks providing an additional source of meat. It can to be prepared using a variety of cooking methods such as sautéing, grilling, broiling, roasting, steaming or poaching, but the lean meat dries out quickly if overcooked. Eaten fresh, the meat has a clean taste and requires little seasoning. Halibut is noted for its dense and firm texture. Fresh halibut should have a white, glossy flesh and also retains moisture well when frozen.
Our halibut is longline caught by local vessels and the fishery is certified as sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC).

Since we are delivering fresh product, all items are subject to availability based on weather, catch, vessel schedules and seasonal availability.
Final packaged weights may differ from weights ordered. Customers will be notified of final packaged weights and total of order costs prior to delivery.
